POLITICAL INTRIGUE

Politic is not peeled from intrigue which has purpose to maintain authority. Like leader at government institution or profit company, they usually meet obstacle and conflict. Professional institution run base on regulation and policy. Every measure, daily activity must be followed regulation and policy. Sometimes, irregular condition will be met which it’s not governed yet by regulation. This condition push politician making new regulation to cope it. Regulation is made to guide what activity should be avoided. If the regulation is broken, there will be punishment for anyone who do it.

When regulation is performed, sometimes it will not fluent as regulator hope. The changing of condition, it will make them to amendment regulation or make new it. In the another way, conflict could happen by several caused. Weak leadership, bad condition of institution, or rebellion of unsatisfied people could trigger conflict. A lot of people agree that politic is dirty world. All effort will be done to restrain their power. Even fraudulent action did not strange way for politician and no doubt for them that it will be done to fall down their opponent.

Politic world is also not peeled from how to influence public opinion. This is one important think especially in democratic system. Politician who can get the most influence from public will have power. To get this purpose, they usually have rhetoric capability, good vision, good understanding about their constituent culture, and hospitality. These condition can be observed especially at campaign term. Campaign term is important term for them to raise crucial theme that it will draw a lot of ballots. The most interesting theme for politician to get constituent is “how to make more wealthier” by extent job field, reduce inflation, enhance labor wage, low loan bank interest, and so on. But history already record that nation pride or ideology is the most popular theme which sometimes ignore even suppress their people rights as seen in communist system or totalitarian system.

There are some pattern by politician usually used to keep their power; money politic by buy people voice or other politician power, intimidation or terror even homicide and destruction, slander or character assassination and propaganda. Money politic is used to influence constituent in order to choose them at ballots.Intimidation is done to push politician wish in order to be accepted by their opponent. This method always be done by threatening to murder or destroy. Slander and character assassination have aim to ruin reputation their opponent by influence and convince people. Meanwhile Propaganda is used as brainwasher to constituent about how great their ability or vision.

Money politic is common way to get vote especially in poor and corrupt democracy country. Politician via their success team will pervade to give as call as “Supporting Money” to constituent. Distribution of supporting money usually is done by door to door accompanied with invitation to attend speech of great campaign. This activity also give t-shirt, hat, or another party’s attribute to their constituent by free. At electoral level, money politic is done by politician to buy voice from electoral member before voting term.

Intimidation is characterized by seizure. Politic opponent is locked up and interrogated, sometimes used violation method. They were pushed to admit or accept interrogator wish. Intimidation also known as “psychology weaken method” which its result depend on how weak victim mental. If victim have tough mental and determination, sometimes it will push interrogator to used violation method from only torturing until murder them.

Slander or character assassination usually is done by speech, leaflet, paper in magazine or news paper, or only rumor. The success ness of character assassination is measure how much public believe or influenced by this news. As reputation falling down method, character assassination will take negative action or embarrassment thing from their victim, such as obscene action, bribery, corruption, criminal, or others immoral activity. To convince public, they usually include witness, photograph, tape record or video record. Impact of character assassination to the victim such as allusion, insult, ostracize and boycott.

Propaganda is action to pervade slogan or vision to public. Method to pervade propaganda almost the same with character assassination by used mass media and speech but its aim to collect support from public. Propaganda is done intensely, so it seems like brainwasher.

Power as politician always pursue, actually also follow with prosperity. Two thing that politician want to hide from their constituent.
